FortunaWin launches weekly online poker tournaments in cooperation with PokerStars

PRAGUE/AMSTERDAM (26 November 2010) – Online betting platform FortunaWin.com  part of Fortuna Entertainment Group, the leading operator of fixed-odds betting with outlets across Central and Eastern Europe  has launched weekly poker tournaments in cooperation with leading poker company PokerStars.

Participation in the PokerStars.com tournaments is free. Anyone who wishes to play the most popular card game of present times, or who simply wishes to try their hand at it, can take on other clients of FortunaWin.com.

The tournaments begin every Saturday at 7 p.m. and are open to all registered FortunaWin.com customers. In each game, the participants play for USD 100, i.e. approximately CZK 1,800.

Via its FortunaWin.com subsidiary based in Malta, Fortuna Entertainment Group offers online betting in Hungary. Online betting is the segment in which Fortuna has seen its most prominent business growth in recent years. For example, in Slovakia, where Fortuna has been offering its online betting for the longest period, the volume of amounts staked has increased approximately eightfold over the last two years.
