Jan Štefanek has been appointed as new general manager of FORTUNA zakłady bukmacherskie Sp. z o.o. in Poland since March 2011. Mr. Štefanek worked as director of the sales network and sales director of Fortuna since February 2007 and in July 2007 became a member of the Board of Directors of FORTUNA zakłady bukmacherskie Sp. z o.o..

Jan Štefanek (33) holds a degree in economics and management from the Business University in Ostrava. Between 2000 and 2002 he worked as project manager with KORAS Trade, where he was responsible for a construction of telecommunication network for the mobile operator Český mobil (currently Vodafone CZ).

In 2003 and 2005 he was a real estate developer and participated in a number of large real estate development projects in North Moravia. Later, in 2006 and 2007 he worked as manager developer projects with the construction company TCHAS.

In the office of general manager Poland, he replaced Aleš Dobeš who decided to resign from the post and pursue other carrier opportunities.
