After the great success of the current scratchcards, Fortuna is expanding the offer with four more brand editions - Zlatá cihla (Golden Brick), Medvídci (Bears), Šťastná podkova (Lucky Horseshoe) and Pavouček štěstí (Lucky Spider). Each scratchcard will go on sale in an edition totalling 500,000 cards. Lottery Fortuna has so far gained approximately 50% of the scratchcard market in the Czech Republic and with the extended edition, it has a realistic chance to become the market leader.

“Our scratchcards clearly confirmed that the analysis of the extraordinary potential of this market segment in the Czech Republic were not just empty words. So far we could only work with off-line tickets, which require complicated administration. New editions will run in the on-line regime at our terminal network and processing will therefore be easier for us as well as for the retail outlets,"said Jiří Hosnedl, General Director of the Fortuna Lottery

This technology will also enable an easier introduction of the new scratchcards.  In the following period, Lottery Fortuna plans to launch one new scratchcard edition every two months.

The new scratchcards are currently being distributed to individual dealers in order to be ready for sale through the Fortuna scratchcard retail network by the end of January.

Zlatá cihla (Golden Brick): The scratchcard costs 50 CZK, issued volume of 500,000, total of 178,006 winnings, the top prize is 2 million CZK, 15 chances to win on one scratchcard
Medvídci (Bears): The scratchcard costs 30 CZK, issued volume of 500,000, total of 120,407 winnings, the top prize is 1 million CZK, 2 play areas and up to 4 chances to win on one scratchcard
Pavouček štěstí (Lucky Spider): The scratchcard costs 20 CZK, issued volume of 500,000, total of 105,001 winnings, the top prize is 500,000 CZK
Šťastná podkova (Lucky Horseshoe): The scratchcard costs 20 CZK, issued volume of 500,000, total of 149,108 winnings; the top prize is 25,000 CZK, extra chance to win 1,000 CZK

Current scratchcards (Zlatá rybka - Golden Fish) – maximum prize 2 million CZK, GOAL! -maximum prize of 1 million CZK and Šťastná sedma (Lucky Seven) – maximum prize 500,000 CZK, will still be available and players can still win the top prizes.
