Wilf Walsh will become interim CEO of Fortuna Entertainment Group

Amsterdam - Wilf Walsh, current Vice Chairman of the Management Board of Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG) will become interim CEO of the company from January next year. Thus, he will replace Jiří Bunda who decided to leave the company.

"After joining Fortuna in 2009, Jiří had three key tasks ahead of him - to prepare the firm for the IPO in the Warsaw and Prague Stock Exchanges, to launch the lottery project of Fortuna and to increase the company´s profitability. Under his leadership the company successfully achieved all goals. Therefore, on behalf of shareholders I would like to thank him deeply for his work," said Jozef Janov, Chairman of the FEG Supervisory Board. "Wilf guarantees continuity and a further positive development of Fortuna. I am convinced that the company will benefit from his greater involvement in day-to-day business of Fortuna and his broad experiences with different European markets," he added.

"I want to thank all employees of Fortuna, our partners and also our shareholders,"
said Jiří Bunda. "We are about to post record-breaking financial results for this year so I am leaving with a satisfaction. I will still remain the shareholder of the company as I support Fortuna and believe in it."

According to Wilf Walsh, the priority for the company in the near future will be a further strengthening of Fortuna´s position in the current markets. "The permission of on-line betting in Poland is a unique opportunity for us as well as intensive development of the lottery business in the Czech market," added W. Walsh. He will be in the interim CEO position at least until the annual shareholders meeting planned for May 2012.

Recently, Wilf Walsh has been Vice Chairman of the Management Board responsible for corporate strategy. He participated on FEG's listing on the Prague and Warsaw stock exchanges in 2010. Wilf is also Non Executive Director of Gala Coral, Europe's largest integrated betting and gaming business. He previously served as Managing Director of Coral, steering the company through two private equity transactions. He is Strategy Betting Advisor of British Horse Racing and a Partner in Predict - a private equity consultancy focused on the leisure sector.
